In November 2001, stiff competition and limited growth prompted MYOB to sell its MYOB Canada business to Edmonton, Alberta-based Intuit Canada Ltd. in a $9.1 million deal. After helping to establish TeleWare, Lee was involved in the development of several popular software programs during the early years of personal computing, according to an October 18, 1999, Business Wire release. TeleWare became BestWare Inc. when it was sold to Reston, Virginia-based Best Software in late 1993. However, Lee remained with the company and continued to serve as its president.
